I have been a health and fitness professional for over 12 years. My fitness background started at a very young age being very active in sports like baseball, volleyball and basketball. I started weight training in high school and right away I was hooked ! I love the challenge of pushing my body to new levels and the feeling of accomplishing my goals.
I joined the U.S. COAST GUARD right after high school and continued to make exercise a everyday part of my life. I received my A.S. in electronic engineering and started my career doing that after the Coast Guard. I knew it wasn’t what I wanted and loved to do. I decided to look into taking my personal hobby of fitness and make it into a career. I never looked back ! I have enjoyed every year of my fitness career watching people grow and some shrink !!! I feel like I have been successful due to my passion and interest in helping others start a healthy lifestyle.
Most of my clients know I live by Performance not Promise ! Talk is cheap, set your goals and work hard and consistent until you reach them. Colleen Delmore, has been with Prime 8 Fitness since it opened in March or 2011. She carries certifications in Pilates through The Physical Mind, The Method Pilates since 2010. She is educated in applied anatomy and physiology and also has a deep knowledge of the body through her own movement experiences. She also has several LesMills certifications in BodyPump, BodyCombat, and Cxworx. Colleen is currently in the process of becoming a ‘Master Trainer’ with LesMills and teaches at several different locations around the Pinellas County area and loves being in a group fitness atmosphere. She is very passionate about teaching Pilates and Group Fitness while educating people about their bodies. She teaches with compassion and intellect. She brings a smile and positive energy to every session and class, as she strives to offer each member a beneficial and enjoyable experience with a strong extra push.
Colleen has been with Prime 8 Fitness since the doors opened March 5th, 2011. You can join Colleen for the HardCore Conditioning Classes Tuesdays at 7:30pm and Thursdays 9:30am and 7:30pm.
Carly’s passion in life is fitness and nutrition. Years of sports and athletics helped sparked that passion and allowed her to turn it into a purpose: helping others achieve their fitness goals. She believes the road to a healthy lifestyle starts with a positive outlook and setting attainable goals, and knows that a little determination can go a long way. Carly believes in a mind-body approach to fitness, it isn’t just physical. Being able to dominate the mental barriers will help dominate the physical barriers, and vise versa. And that’s where she comes in; with your persistent practice and hard work Carly will help you achieve your fitness goals.
